Big Boy Bed

We took down the crib and daddy put together Bodie's big boy bed.... He loves to jump on it, lay on it, play on it, but not sleep in it?? Hopefully he will begin to like sleeping in it very soon.

Playing Outside

This evening we enjoyed some time outside. It was a little chilly, but the kids didn't mind at all.

We even went on a bike ride. Jesse hooked up the cart to his bike and Bodie and Hailee got in it with the rest of us rode our bikes. Everything was going good until Bodie learned to unbuckle himself and stand up... So I ended up carrying him home. When Bodie got out then Jesse took Hailee on a fast ride and all you could hear is giggles from the kids (one of the best sounds in the world).

In the kitchen

Yesterday, I decided to tackle making my Grandma Hollis's yummy homemade noodles for our Thanksgiving dinner. Hailee decided she wanted to help so she was in charge of the flour and the rolling pin... We had a big mess!! However she had fun helping and says she can't wait to taste them :) I love that she wants to help me and learn how to make things. I hope one day I can pass this recipe down to her and she can make them for the family!!

Shopping Trip/Day with Grandparents

Every year we do an "Annual" trip to Edinburgh the weekend before Thanksgiving. Bill and Cindy come to our house and stay the day with our kids, and April's kids while we tackle some major shopping!! So Saturday was our big day:) While all the kids had fun with Bill and Cindy, April, Jesse and I shopped. Such a GREAT DAY and got lots done. There was some really cute clothes and some good deals!!

Look at Me...

Daddy put door locks on all the doors, so Bodie decided he would get into the corner spin around thing.... First he pulls everything out then climbs in. This happens several times a day!!

Bodie has watched his big brother Austin, and big sissy Hailee brush their teeth. Now Bodie is a pro at brushing. He climbs on his stool, turns on the cold water and sticks his tooth brush in. When he is done brushing his teeth, he has learned to spit. Such a big boy!!

Trophies

2010 Fall Soccer Champions

This evening my team met up at the YMCA to get our championship trophies. The kids were so excited to get BIG trophies. (Jesse is on call and was working so he didn't get in the picture, but he also coached). What a great team!!

This weather was so nice today! The kids enjoyed playing outside on the swing set, with their soccer goal, and Bodie enjoyed riding the little 4wheeler!! :) Hope you all had time to enjoy the nice weather before it got dark....

Champions

Friday evening at 5:30 was our Final Championship game, and we fought hard to win it. Yay!! Even though we were SOOOO cold, we pulled it off with a score of 2-1. Austin made both of our goals :) I was blessed with a great team, and some great parents which always makes coaching worth it all. Way to Go Tigers!!

Dr. appt

Say a prayer for Jesse! Tomorrow morning we are going to meet with a specialist for a second opinion on his arm. We are praying for answers that let us know what to do, and which route to go.

Tournament Game

Yesterday we were at the soccer field for our first tournament game, and we won!! It was really a good game. The orange team (my team) got the victory 5-4 :) Austin scored three of the goals, WAY TO GO AUSTIN!! So we advance to the next game on Wednesday....

We had a pretty good season we won 3 games, tied 2 games, and lost 1.

4 Wheeler Riding

Yesterday, Jesse told the kids he would take them outside to play so that I could clean the house a little bit. So I looked out the window and this is what I saw....

Hailee loved giving Bodie a ride on her 4 wheeler, even though at one time he learned to press the petal and ran into the truck...

Jesse also dug out the old Dora 4 wheeler and Bodie had a ball on it! Full of laughs and smiles :)
