Christmas 2009

Sorry I haven't posted about Christmas sooner~ but it has been crazy around here. Jesse was on call over the week of Christmas and well it started out a slow week but Christmas Eve night all the calls began. Here are some pics of Christmas Eve:

Christmas morning the kids woke up at 7:15 Am so excited because Santa had come and left presents!! Luckly Jesse walked in soon after they woke up from being out working all night so he was there to see them open their gifts.

Austin and Hailee were very excited to recieve the Nintendo DSI this year and got several games for the Wii!! They must of been pretty good this year. Bodie got a new Bumbo seat that he loves :) Lots of other little things to!
The kids have kept busy playing with all their many new toys. I am hoping that will keep them going for awhile! Hope you all had a very Merry Christmas!

Happy 10th Birthday Austin

Ten years ago today, I welcomed my handsome son Austin into this world. From that day on my life has been filled with joy, love, and happiness. Austin has grown so much and turned into a handsome young man. I am so proud of all that he has accomplished and all that he has done. Austin, you make me one proud momma! I love you:)

Austin at 2 weeks
Austin at 3 years

Austin at 9 years old
I will have to make sure I update a picture of him at 10 years old!! Austin's request for the day was a red velvet birthday cake so that is what I am going to make:) I will post more later.

busy busy weekend

Let's start with Thursday...
Thursday night my sister Lindsey and Brian came up with their kids to stay the night. Brian had to be in Bloomington on Friday so Lindsey and her kids hung out with us:) The kids had a great time playing together. There were lots of laughing!! Then when Jesse got home from work and got ready Bodie, Jesse and I headed to Greenwood to finish up our Christmas shopping while Lindsey and Brian babysat for Austin and Hailee. Okay well our trip was fustrating to say the least. We rushed around store to store grabbing all the items we needed... We got home at 1 in the morning on Saturday. Then I had to stay up and wrap the gifts I needed to take to Odon, pack overnight bags for all of us. I made it to bed aroun 330 ish and had to be up at 7 to finish getting ready and get on the road headed to Odon. Yeah Jesse and I were TIRED!
On Saturday we enjoyed a family gathering at Cindy's for the Eaton side. Lots of yummy food, and visits with family. After everyone left then we did our Christmas with Bill and Cindy!! The kids got lots of new clothes, and games, and toys... They were so excited and very happy! Later that evening we headed over to my mom's to spend the night. I think we got to bed at midnight there.
Sunday morning I got up and helped mom get stuff ready. All my sister's, brother, and grandma Wanda came to spend the day and celebrate. Another yummy meal, lots of playing, and more toys. We also celebrated birthday's (Brian, and Zaden) while there. We left there around 330 and headed home.
When we got home and unloaded things, I realized how much work I have to do. I have mounds of laundry to do in the laundry room and tons of toys, and games laying on my couch that I have to make room for. So that is my job for the day:)
Now it is Monday and Jesse is on call this whole week.... What a weekend, now I need some time to catch up on sleep and relax:)

Please keep Jesse's dad in your prayers. He was in the hospital, but is being released today to come home. He is doing better, thank goodness!!

Last night, we took the kids for a drive through the park. It really doesn't matter how many times we drive through it, they still get excited to see the Christmas lights and decor. They LOVE it!! When we got home they decided to watch some Christmas shows that were on TV~ Hailee got out her "camping bag" so that she could lay down and watch them. I loved walking in the living room and seeing them laying on the floor in their sleeping bags watching tv together. So Sweet!! Soon they will have to make room for Bodie~ I am sure that he will be right there in the middle of them :)
We have no big plans for this weekend~ yay!! We are just getting some stuff done around the house that is on the TO DO LIST... Yeah that list keeps getting longer and longer. We are also getting our final list ready and our last minute things together. We are planning a day of shopping next week. Then it will be to Odon for that weekend to celebrate some Christmas with our families.
Hope you all have a great weekend!!

Remember a loved one

A year ago today was the day that Grandma Marjorie Eaton went to be with our heavenly father. She is GREATLY missed everyday by all, but never forgotten. We are going to take time out this evening and talk about all the things we remember about her. I am sure that there are many stories that Jesse will be sharing with us all. So to all of you that knew her take time and do the same. I am sure she is smiling down upon us.

Things have been busy around here. Keeping up with three kids and a dog is def. a job~one that I enjoy!! The kids have been doing GREAT. We went to Odon for Thanksgiving and spent it with both sides of the family. We split the day in half~ first half my mom's, second half Jesse's parents. We got back home around 830 ish, and we were all EXHAUSTED!!
Jesse hung up our outside Christmas lights over the weekend~ the kids were excited!! Oh and on Friday night we took the kids for some hot chocolate and drove through Martinsville Park to see all the Christmas Lights. They loved it!!
Over the weekend the kids enjoyed playing outside with some of the neighbor kids. We also watched several movie together like "Are we there yet" and "Are we done yet" ~lots of laughs:)

And now it is Monday.......... I am not sure why I dread Mondays most of the time. I think it is just that I now I have so much to get done through the week and well Monday starts it so.... Jesse goes on call this week so it will be an interesting week. Hope you are all doing great and have a nice week.

Royal Treatment

Austin and Hailee are loving Bodie so much! They are great big brother and sister to him, and have helped me out alot. Things have been going good around our house. Here are my three kiddo's.
Bodie enjoys sitting in the highchair and watching the kids/me. Of course it is laid back, but he still loves it! Here is the big boy in his highchair!
Austin is growing up so much. I can't believe next month he will turn 10. Wow!

Yesterday Hailee and I had hair appt. I was so glad to get my hair cut, but even more excited was Miss Hailee Brooke. She loves going in to the beauty shop and always recieves the ROYAL TREATMENT!! Here are a few pics of our princess getting her hair done:)

Catching Up

Over the weekend the kids went to Mamaw and Papaw (Hillbilly's) Swartzentruber's. They had a blast from the stories told, but were so wore out!! Lots of playing, laughing, and quality time with gparents and cousins!!
Jesse, Bodie, and I didn't do much while they were gone. I don't think we even really left the house. It was def. quiet around here and I could tell Bodie missed them. He always wants to know where they are and looks around for them lots!

On Monday, we had homeschool group. We celebrated a few birthdays, and did some crafts. The kids had fun playing with other kids. Other than that we haven't done to much. Well other than the everyday things... This coming weekend Jesse, April (sil) and I are heading to edinburgh to do some Christmas shopping!! I am looking forward to the great deals and using my COUPONS!! Bill and Cindy are going to watch the kids on Saturday while we go. This is a tradition!! We do this every year usually the weekend before Thanksgiving~ due to Kevin(brother in law) being gone to deer camp. We always have fun and have lots of laughs:)
Hope you all have a great week!

So now I am back to doing whatever I want. First on my list is EXERCISING!! I am ready to get this extra baby weight off, just wish it was that easy.

Cindy came up today to pick up Austin and Hailee for a weekend with Mamaw and Papaw. They were both looking forward to it. They always have fun there! So right now it is just Jesse, me and Bodie at the house and let me tell ya it is way to quiet. When the kids are gone I sure do miss them:)

"MeMee"

I have noticed the last few days that when Hailee is in trouble and we get on to her she replies, " I didn't do it, MeMee did it. I am serious she did." When I ask her about MeMee, she tells me that only she can see MeMee, no one else can. With this being said, Hailee has an imaginary friend. I told Hailee that MeMee isn't going to be allowed to stay here because she does all the bad things that gets Miss Hailee in trouble.

I can't remember if Austin had an imaginary friend or not, I am sure he might of at one point. The things that Hailee can come up with:)

This weekend the weather has been beautiful!! Jesse has been on call this weekend but he still found time to enjoy the outdoors!! He mowed the yard and got all the leaves up and even trimmed up the landscaping... It really needed it!! He is the best, let me tell ya :) On Saturday my mom came up for a visit and to spend the night. The kids enjoyed having Mamaw Wise here, she always plays Wii with them:) They had a blast. We just hung out and took a little trip to WalMart. On Sunday we got up and she headed home. My little sister went to Passion for Purity and so mom headed there for a ceremony. The kids and I went outside to enjoy the weather and to help Jesse get some things done. Here are a few pics I got of the kids.

Also I just wanted to share these pictures. Lindsey (my sister) and her family. They have a little one on the way due in May.

Learning Early

My kids always are saying things to make us laugh, and often we wonder where they get some of the things they are saying from. I mean sometimes they are just to cute and so funny.

I want to share a few of Hailee's funny stories. Hailee was sitting at the computer desk typing the buttons, when I asked her what she thought she was doing. She replies, " Mom~ I am texting Mamaw!" Another time she is banging on the keyboard and I said, "Hailee get off that computer." She says, "but mom I am checking my FACEBOOK...." I about died... I hope that isn't the only thing that she is learning from me.

Kids are just too cute!!

"CRAZY"

This week was the final week of soccer for us til Spring. Austin's team lost on Monday so we are done.... Austin had a great season with many goals, and lots of new friends!! Hailee also did a fabulous job this season. :) They both got trophies and are satisfied!!

Crazy is the word to describe things right now.... I have been schooling the kids everyday, keeping the house going and clean, nursing and making sure Bodie is satisfied, and so much more. By the time Jesse gets home, I am ready to sit down. He is super about helping when he gets home, but by the end of the day we both feel a bit CRAZY!! We wouldn't trade it though.

On Monday the kids and I went with our homeschool group to tour the new Firestation in Martinsville. I have to say it is really BIG and nice:) The kids learned alot about fire safety and even got to crawl through the smoke house. My kids have talked about it everyday and have practiced crawling through our house staying along the edges like they would do if it was the real deal. I am glad that they got this education!!
Other than this not to much has happened here.

Trophy!!!

Today was suppose to be Hailee's last soccer game, but due to the weather it got cancelled. They met at the YMCA though to hand out trophies and ice cream. Hailee loves trophies and was super excited to have another to add to her collection. Here are a few pics of our princess with her trophy!!

So Hailee's soccer season is done. However Austin starts tournaments on Monday. If we loose we are done, but if we win we keep going. He is excited but also a nervous nelly. Ha ha. Should be an interesting week!! Jesse is on call so I will be packing up and heading to the soccer field to coach with three kids.... I know I can do it!!

Weekend/Monday

Over the weekend, we took a trip to Odon to visit with family. Our first stop was at Bill and Cindy's. Jesse's sister April was there and finally got to meet Bodie. She had been a little under the weather and didn't want to get us sick so she waited, but she was so ready to meet her nephew:) We spent some time there and ate lunch there. It was so nice to visit and let the kids play with their cousins. They love the time they get together and play so well!!

After we left there, we went to my parents house. Again all my sister's were there with their kids. Hailee and Austin had a GREAT time playing. They were a little bummed though cause Uncle Clayton was working, boo.... However we all had a great visit and even got to see my Grandma Hollis.

Gma Hollis holding Bodie for the first time.

A picture of our baby Bodie! He is growing so much:)
On Monday we had a Halloween party with our homeschool group. They made candy necklaces, painted pumpkins, did pumpkin bowling, bobbing for apples, and had yummy snacks. The kids really enjoyed it!

Fresh Air

Jesse had off Monday and Tuesday this week, but goes back to work tomorrow. I don't think he is to excited about it, just cause it has been nice being at home. Ha ha. The kids and I have enjoyed all this extra time with him even if we haven't gotten alot accomplished.
Today it was really a nice day so we all went outside and got some fresh air!! We needed it! The kids played soccer with daddy while Bodie and I sat and watched them. Bodie loves watching the kids and really loved being outdoors:)
We are hoping that tomorrow is a nice day to so that we can spend some more time outside and then head to the soccer field in the evening!

Lots of updates!

Life has been crazy around here lately... A parent of three has been challenging. We have been trying to get a routine down, and ect. but it takes so long. We will get there though. Bodie went for his two week appt and weighed in at 10 lbs 2 oz. Yay!! He is growing and changing daily!
Papaw Eaton came to meet Bodie for the first time. He said that Bodie was perfect in everyway:) Libby brought him up with some goodies for Bodie and Austin and Hailee got some money from Papaw!
The kids were so happy that Bodie's cord finally fell off. Well we were to that way he could take a bath!! Here is Bodie's first time in the tub. He actually loves bathtime for the most part:)

After his bath, all lotioned up with that mmmm baby smell! He is so precious!
Yesterday Jesse had a vacation day so we went on a field trip to Apple Works in Trafager, IN. Our homeschool group had a tour there. We got to pick apples, go for a wagon ride, do the pet zoo, playgroup, see where the goodies were made, and had a delicious apple snack! The kids loved it and Hailee is already asking to go back! We bought some yummy apple dumplings that we brought home and made at supper~ yes they were delicious!!
We also took the kids to get pumpkins and carved them last night. Here are a few pics that I got!
Austin concentrating on his pumpkin! He made a scary face!
Hailee with her pumpkin! Daddy helped:)
