Alone time

On Friday, we got a phone call from Papaw Bill saying he was going through Martinsville if Hailee and Austin wanted to go to their house for the weekend. Did I even have to ask them if they were going? No cause I knew that answer... They love going there and have so much fun!! Jesse and I took the kids to meet Bill, then grabbed a taco from Taco Bell before heading home. Bodie didn't know what to think with it being so quiet around the house. Heck I didn't know what to think or do either especially on Saturday cause Jesse ended up working. Bodie and I got lots of alone time. Here are a few pics of my little man!

The kids returned home today, and Bodie was so happy to see his brother and sister. They were full of hugs and kisses for him as well. He was glad to see mamaw and papaw too!!
Jesse, the kids and I watched the colts game tonight! We are so thrilled that they are headed to SuperBowl!! Yay:) Hope everyone has a GREAT week.

Almost 4 months

It is so hard to believe that my baby is almost 4 months... He is getting so big and growing so fast. Bodie Kale has completed this family, and we all love him very much. We love everything about this little guy!

Austin is a GREAT big brother. He is always there to give me a helping hand. Austin volunteers often to hold him while I fold laundry or just get things done. The smile they both have on their faces melts my heart. Bodie cooing at his big brother is just priceless.

Hailee is a WONDERFUL big sissy. She is always there to give Bodie an extra squeeze or tons of kisses. She gives him tons of raspberries on his belly and he laughs so hard. Even though she might be a little rough at times, he likes it alot.

Bodie loves when Daddy walks in the door from work. Seriously this little guy is full of smiles for daddy. He loves his daddy's attention!! Also when sleeping he loves to touch his daddy's hand or hang on to his shirt. He is def. daddy's little buddy!

So many things that I treasure with my little man. I love waking up to his sweet smile. I love his cooing and him telling me in his own way how good he is. I love watching him as he watches his brother and sister~ he gets so excited. I love the way he kicks his legs when he is excited. I love to cuddle with him. I love the way he smiles at me while nursing him. I love when he hold my finger. I love his laughs. Bodie there are so many things that I love about you:)

I just have to say how lucky I am. I have two amazing sons, and one amazing daughter. God has blessed Jesse and I with this Wonderful family.

Bodie keeps growing and growing... Look at our big boy!

He has rolled over a couple of times. Here he is in his crib listening to the music! He is just so sweet, and such a happy baby!
On Monday evening my mom came for an overnight visit. The kids were really excited that grandma was coming over. They were ready to play the Wii with her, ha ha. On Tuesday she went with us to the WonderLab. Our homeschool group planned a field trip there so we all met up there. We all had fun, we usually do. Here is a pic I took of Austin and Hailee by the crane thingy.

My mom and the kids!
So far this week is going good. We are getting stuff accomplished and finding lots of quality times together! I love my family:)

This weekend was a nice quiet weekend at home. No plans, and not to much to do other than be at home with the family. On Saturday Jesse did take Hailee and Austin outside to play for awhile. They really needed it. Hailee enjoyed riding her new bike that she had gotten for her birthday. Austin of course wanted to play with the other neighbor boys. They both had fun and burned off some of that energy!! I think they are ready for some warmer weather so that they can be outside.

Today, Jesse met me at the grocery store so that we could tackle it. It really is a team effort. Jesse has a cart with Hailee up front. I have a cart with Bodie in it, and well Austin is throwing things in, ha ha. I am so glad to have the shopping over with for the two weeks. Austin thinks it is so crazy that we one go every two weeks, but that is just how I do it. I feel like I spend so much more if I go every week or a few times a week.
I did purchase Biggest Loser Wii game. I decided to start it tonight, and I am here to tell you I was sweating, and I am feeling a little sore. I really hope that this works and helps me to loose some baby weight. I will keep you posted.
Well that sums it up. This week we have a little bit more planned so I will take some pictures and post some more later. Have a GREAT week!

Winter Time...

We have been having lots of fun doing "Family Game Nights." With all this cold weather we have been staying warm inside playing board games. A few of our favorites is Sorry Slidders, I spy with my Eagle Eye, and of course Uno Attack! The kids have been loving it.
Jesse took the kids out to play in the snow! It was so cold. They played for awhile then came in for some Hot Chocolate!!
Hailee all bundled up to play in the snow!

Austin and the neighbor boys playing in the snow :)

Our back deck! Look at all that SNOW!

The kids camped out in our living room over the weekend. Jesse rented the rug doctor and shampooed the carpets. I tell you I have an awesome husband. :) He worked so hard cleaning the carpets and the kids had fun on the air up mattress in the living room. Fun Fun!!
Today we got up early, so that I could return the rug doctor when the place opened. Then we came home and put the rooms back together. After that it was schooling and homeschool group at the Library. I think it did the kids some good to get out and go to group. They have missed their friends due to us not meeting the whole month of December. We are glad to be getting back on track since the holidays! Hope you all have a great week!

Well I can't believe that Christmas break is coming to an end... We usually don't take a break but we took a week off of homeschool. We enjoyed Jesse being home a few extra days and I am not looking forward to him going back...
Today was my little girl's birthday and her request for supper was Fried Chicken, Mac n cheece, and Chocolate cake with chocolate icing. Yep that is what we had too! YUM:) We spent the day together hanging out at the house. Austin got a new Playstation 3 game so he has enjoyed it, while Hailee has been playing with all her other toys! Bodie~ well he has enjoyed sleeping in momma's arms:)
Hope you all had a great weekend! Now it is time to get back into the routine....

My Princess is 4

I can't believe that my little princess is no longer 3.... Hailee Brooke "Brooketini" is now a 4 year old. Our little girl is growing up so fast! Happy Birthday Hailee~ mommy and daddy loves you so very much, and we are so proud of you.

Hailee has accomplished many things during year 3 like becoming a BIG sister, doing chores, getting involved in activities, and a big one... Sleeping in her very own bed (most of the night). We are so proud of her for that!! Looking forward to many new accomplishments during her 4th year.

Happy 4th Birthday Hailee Brooke Swartzentruber. Mommy, Daddy, Austin, Bodie, and Zeke (our dog) loves you very much.

The Year 2010

We celebrated our New Year's Eve at home in our pj's, eating junk food, and watching TV. Isn't that the way to do it? I just enjoy being able to spend evenings at home with my family, playing games, watching tv... or just doing whatever!! Jesse and I really feel like we have been blessed in the year 2009, and we hope that 2010 brings many blessings for our families. We did make a New Year's Resolution together and we are going to work hard at suceeding it this year. Hope everyone has a Wonderful New Year!!
