Momma....

Yes, my baby is now talking!! And guess what his first word was.... "Momma". I love it!! He is constantly saying it and it melts my heart.

Okay not everyone is as excited about this as I am. Jesse is practing dadda with him now. Hailee broke down crying because she wants Bodie to quit saying "momma" and say "hailee." And Austin says he hopes Bodie will say bubby soon. We shall wait and see what his next word will be, but for now I am going to enjoy the sweet sound of "momma."

Our Monday

Today the kids and I met the homeschool group at the library. The kids had fun making cards for mother's day and father's day with Kristal. She is so scrapbook crafty and had lots of cool things for the kids to put on their cards!!
After leaving the library we headed to the gymnastics academy to buy Hailee a leotard. She is starting gymnastics tomorrow so we needed the leo. She picked one out and absolutely loves it. As soon as we got home she put it on and has been wearing it ever since! We took pictures on the phone to send out to mamaw's and papaw's and Auntie April, and of course daddy!! I will post pictures tomorrow when she gets ready for her first gym class. She is so excited to start because she says she wants to learn to do flips!!

Well it is a cold dreary Monday so we are going to cuddle up on the couch and watch The Blindside an eat popcorn!! Enjoy your Monday!

Today was ND's prom, and my sister looked absolutely beautiful!! We took a few pictures of her and her big day!!

The necklace she is wearing was my Grandma Wise's. I got to wear it for my wedding and now Molli is wearing it for one of her special days!!

Happy Birthday Colin

I finally signed Hailee up for gymnastics class, and she is SO EXCITED!! She starts next Tuesday so we will see how much she loves it then:) I hope she loves it and sticks with it. So we are on the search for some gymnastic leotards:) I will keep you posted on how she likes the class...

Soccer

Today was one of those crazy soccer days... Jesse is on call, we have pictures (Austin and Hailee) at the same exact time, and also they both have games at the same time two different places. Oh goodness, but luckily Bill and Cindy were here to help out!! Seriously they really helped me out so much, and I am so lucky that they are always there when I need them :) Our day started out with pictures at the YMCA at 9 am and it was crazy. Kids running around everywhere. Jesse and I had to laugh at some of Hailee's smiles that she made duing group pictures and individual pictures cause they were some pretty funny ones. She is a character:) After our pictures we split up into teams, ha ha. Bill and Cindy took Hailee to her game! She was so excited that they were going to her game, but Austin was a little bummed that they would miss his. She did awesome from what we heard! Way to go Hailee, she even scored a goal (it might of went in the wrong goal, but hey it is still a goal).
Austin, Bodie and I met Jesse out at Melady field for Austin's game. My team won 3-0! Austin had one goal this time:) I am really blessed with some talented players and super nice parents! Way to go Austin!!

After the games we came back to our house and ate KFC. We are all sick now with runny noses, icthy throats, and sinus headaches. UGH. Hailee is currently napping going on her 2 1/2 hours. I know she isn't feeling well at all...

This is what we have been doing...

We are enjoying this weather! Walks, bike rides, playing soccer, basketball, and spending time with each other is what we have been doing. We are loving it!!

The kids started soccer on Saturday! Austin had a game at 10 so we all started out there. Austin had 5 goals! We ended up with a win of 8-0. Then Hailee had a game at 11! She did awesome out on the field running after the ball and chasing the others around! Of course she was happy when they got their shirts and SNACKS. That is the highlight to most of the players her age!!

6 month checkup

It is hard to believe that our baby boy is already 6 months old. Time just flies right by us... Bodie went for his check up with the doctor on Tuesday. He checked out GREAT. He was full of smiles, laughs and jumps!!

Bodie weighs 20 lbs and his height is 27.5, we have a big boy! Some things that he is doing now:
*Rolling all over the place. I put him down on a blanket and he just rolls and rolls!!
*Jumps... We have a jumper! It doesn't matter if he is in his jumperoo or on your lap, he is always jumping!!
* Teeth, we now have three bottom teeth and we know how to use them...
*Laughing, all the time especially at Hailee and Austin! I love to hear him laugh:)
* Solid foods, we are now on a number 2 stage baby food and he loves it! He loves most all of it!
* We are still nursing and going strong with it~ have to be cause I can't get him to take a bottle or sippy with breastmilk in it. However he will take a sippy with juice or water in it.
* Naps, well they aren't very long ones. He usually wakes up when he hears the kids voice and when he does wake up it is almost always with a SMILE on his face.
*Cuddling... Bodie is a cuddlier, especially at night when he is in the middle of mommy and daddy.
There are so many new things Bodie is doing and he is growing so much. We love watching him, hugging on him, kissing on him, and squeezing on him daily! We love you Bodie Kale!!
