This weekend was definately a movie weekend at our house. I just love those types of days were we are all cuddled on the couches watching movies, and laughing. Of course we also have our popcorn, soda pop, and candy to complete the whole movie theme! Such great family time :) Of course I don't think it is possible for Hailee to make it through the whole movie cause she fell asleep both nights during the movie. Oh well!
Hope you all had a GREAT weekend, and are ready to start this week!

The next chapter
My little sister, Molli, is starting her next chapter in life. On Wednesday her journey began with her move to University of Indianapolis. I am very proud of her for all she has accomplished and is yet to accomplish. She is going to U of I for nursing. Our hopes is one day she will be able to take care of us all when we are sick! She is a very smart girl and there are no doubts in my mind that she will conquer all that she sets her mind to.

Today is a new day....
Yesterday was one of those days where things didn't go my way at all... It was a rather fustrating day at our house. First, Jesse broke his favorite coffee mug. Second, the washer had a burning smell. Third, something broke on the dryer. Fourth, our back window went down but never came back up.... SERIOUSLY! So guess what Jesse did most of the day??? Yeah tried to fix everything. Coffee mug got thrown in the trash, washer and dryer part is ordered and will be here in 3-5 buisness days, car window is up but no one can roll it down til we get a part for it. UGH! So I am hoping that today is a good day and nothing else BREAKS.

Just waiting...
We are just waiting for Bodie to take off walking, cause it won't be long. He can stand up all by himself without pulling up on anything. The little stinker will stand up, clap his hands, and then fall down and crawl over to ya. I say that we are waiting, however this doesn't mean that I am ready... I can just imagine that I will be chasing him more than I already do. It is hard to believe that our little baby boy is growing up so fast. I am not ready for him to grow up. I am not ready for any of them to grow up, but I know that they have to... SOOOO I am just going to enjoy all my time with them...

Routine
This week we have worked on getting a routine down, and it is challanging but I think we may have one!! I have alot going on: homeschooling a 5th grader, kindergarten, an infant, and trying to keep a clean house. Somedays I think I might go crazy, but I wouldn't change it for the world. I have learned that there are some days that I am not going to be able to get housework accomplished the way I want it and that is okay. I have also learned that I am giving my children a great education, and preparing them for life. I feel so blessed that I am givin the opportunity to spend everyday with my kids, and give them a good education with alot of one on one time. I LOVE IT!!
We are working on our second week of schooling. Austin has done amazing! He has been on top of things, and ready to learn. Hailee loves doing all her papers, and she makes sure that she shows her daddy when he walks in the door! She is super smart!! Bodie has also done a great job of helping me, lol. He loves to listen to the kids and will often sit in his high chair at the table with us and just watch the kids and listen to them read. We make sure that he is included in everything! So as of now, we feel like things are going good with school!! YAY!
Not to much else going on around here. I am getting everything ready for my tupperware party on Thursday evening. I told the kids they were going to have to help me get everything ready on Thursday. Austin of course wants no part of this "girl party", but Hailee is super excited about it and wants to help me cook some yummy snacks!! Hope you are all having a great week! I will try to post some pictures soon!

Lineman Rodeo
Saturday morning we headed to Plainfield for the Duke Lineman Rodeo. Jesse doesn't participate in it but we go to watch our brother in law Kevin and his team. The kids really enjoy seeing what their dad does at work, playing all the fun games, free prizes, yummy snacks, and all the freebee's. Here are a few of the pictures that I took during the day.

First Day of School
We offically started our homeschool year today.... Austin is working on his 5th grade year and we started Hailee with the Kindergarten kit and hooked on phonics to help to learn to read. Day One was a little challanging at first, but I know that we will find a routine that works for us and then it will be smooth sailing!
So how did our day go? Well Hailee wanted MORE papers, Austin wanted LESS papers, and Bodie wanted in the middle of all the papers... Ha ha. Our alarms are set, clothes are laid out, kids are asleep so I would say we are ready for day 2 of schooling!!
