Long Emotional Weekend...

On Friday the car was loaded down and we were off to Odon by 10A. We stopped by my mom's for a visit then headed off to Bill and Cindy's for a few nights. Hailee and Austin played with mamaw and papaw until I think they were about to drop from being so tired. We ordered Amish pizza, YUMMO, for supper. We just lounged around and talked, shedded some tears, did our family prayer circle, then off to bed. The kids had fun...
Saturday~ What a rough day. The viewing of Memaw Eaton. She was so loved by many people and blessed with such a terrific family. I know she was smiling down upon all of us. Austin and Hailee went to the viewing with Jesse and I. Hailee kept asking if she could go and look again, and had different questions. It is hard to explain to a two year old. Austin did good. He to was full of questions. Jesse held on to Austin, Hailee, and I for comfort and we were right by his side. He is truely full of emotions but tries to keep it in. It is so hard on him to loose his memaw. Jesse shared many of his stories and memories with us. After the viewing we headed back to Bill and Cindy's-the kids were just ready to play a few games with thier gparents.
Sunday~ Getting up and getting ready to go to the funeral home, my stomach was in knots. I can only imagine what Jesse was feeling. Austin went to my mom and dads, but Hailee decided she was going with me. She was tired and just didn't really feel well all weekend. It was hard walking in knowing that this is it for awhile til we can meet again in heaven. Tears a flowing as we watched many people go to pay thier respect. It was such a hard day for all the family however we know that Memaw Eaton is in heaven watching over all of us.
Jesse, the kids, and I are back at home in Martinsville now. Trying to get laundry done, and some things caught up on. Jesse has tomorrow off so we will be around the house relaxing from a long emotional weekend. Thanks for all the prayers over the last few months. It has been a hard time for our family, and you have all been so wonderful. THANKS:)
